..."The President’s crazier than a shithouse rat.” I mean, how is it different from this?Perhaps question is better rephrased — Why do you keep suggesting that you would seek to remain in office for a third term despite the Constitution’s clear ban? Why are you misleading your supporters and the American public that this is a possibility? https://t.co/1LOr4pfUkz

“BE AFRAID! BE VERY AFRAID!!!😱My big takeaway from Trump's lengthy Air Force One gaggle is that he's talking about shredding the Constitution by being in office for a third term increasingly openly.

If you don't think he'll try it, you're in denial. https://t.co/jzIvz4x56O
His lunacy on the way to and on landing in Japan seems to me to be worse than usual. His three list cognitive test that he doubted AOC could pass was even more demented than the five item one.
ReplyDeleteNo doubt, he’s getting worse in real time, and not over months or years anymore. People keep saying “25th Amendment!,” but it really doesn’t work that way. The 25th requires a 2/3rds vote of both houses to sideline the sitting President permanently. Impeachment only requires a majority in the House. Removal still requires 2/3rds in the Senate. Even with a massive change in Congress in the midterms, I don’t think either is a live option.
ReplyDeleteThere is no royal road out of this mess.
