That Republican party is now the Lincoln Project and the Never Trumpers (do they even call themselves that anymore?), soon to be recognized (formally) as Blue Dogs in the Democratic Party.

There are no Reagan Republicans left in the GOP. Haven’t been any since at least 2020. That Trump took it over so easily says something about political pundits and party poohbahs.

Reminds me of the collapse of the Soviet Union which American intelligence didn’t see coming, and the mighty Russian military we were still told to fear, which needed North Korea to retain its position in Ukraine.
