I would find this even insightful if I didn’t stumble over the assumption that Trump ever cared what MAGA wants. As Trump said early on, “I love the poorly educated.” Trump has never seen MAGA as anything but the rubes for his con.My prediction is a Blue Tsunami in November that eventuates in his impeachment and removal from office. People like me had been trying to get advice to him; trying to nudge him, but he's indifferent to actual MAGA. He's listening to the Corporate Cons. I wish him luck. https://t.co/WF41gR8AYl

WATCH: On Abolishing vs. Reforming ICE
— The Tennessee Holler (@TheTNHoller) February 22, 2026
Asked about the Banner article about ICE/THP terrorizing the Nashville community, Gov. Newsom tells the Holler’s @Kanew he backs the Democrats’ push to reform ICE (not abolish) — calls on Kristi Noem, Bovino, etc. to resign pic.twitter.com/nTDG9HxW1Y
Candidates will campaign on abolishing ICE only if enough of us make it clear to D candidates this is necessary to get our votes. People are like "Chuck Schumer this" and "Gavin Newsom that" and I'm like, "no. it's on *us*"
ReplyDeleteI’m afraid that means we have to be extremely radical to make the elected radical enough. That’s what bothers me.
DeleteWe won't be radical enough? Yeah, I can see that- also, events between now and the election may make us even more willing to push harder. We'll know more fairly soon as the primaries and midterms go on, I guess.
