Vote Early And Often

Okay....
Political correspondent Farrah Tomazin wrote for The Daily Beast's Substack, The Swamp, that Bannon spoke to an audience at a far-right conference and "called for ICE agents and others to be at 'every precinct' in November’s midterm elections."

He told people "if you’re armed or not, that depends upon what your state laws are," Tomazin reported.
If you’re there it could a violation of state law, whether you’re ICE or MAGA. As for the threat of “and others,” I remember during the Covid shutdown when a small group of angry people gathered outside a state capitol and screamed for … something. It was Covid. 🤷‍♂️ Anyway, it led to speculation that people would emulate it across the country. Which three guys tried to do in Austin. They stood outside the Capitol grounds for a few hours, and left. Nobody ever joined them.

So, sure, that’ll happen. Hordes…hordes, I say!, will descend on every polling location in all 50 states and…do what?

Or does Bannon mean election precincts? There are at least 66 in Harris County, but they are being redrawn due to redistricting. And that’s just one county, in one state. I’m not sure what showing up in one those does. Who would even notice?

Or does he mean polling locations? Because those run to 7 pages, with 21 locations per page, in this county. The And that’s just for one county. In one state. Out of 50.

Early voting in Texas starts 10 days before election day, and anyone registered to vote can go to a polling location open for early voting, rather than the one in their precinct, which they have to use on Election Day.

Which leaves me wondering: how many agents does ICE have? And are we still assuming nobody votes for Republicans except old, white men? (Hello!)

Because if this is what they’re coming up with, and they counting on Pulte, I like our chances.

Especially when this is the guy screaming “FRAUD!” every time he runs headlong into reality.
