The Trump regime is now declaring “mission accomplished” while saying “war is hell” (thought they said this wasn't a war?) and claiming the USS Abraham Lincoln’s grueling extended deployment was all part of a “planned rotation.”

The Trump regime is now declaring “mission accomplished” while saying “war is hell” (thought they said this wasn't a war?) and claiming the USS Abraham Lincoln’s grueling extended deployment was all part of a “planned rotation.”These people are beneath contempt. Their incompetence is flashing red and setting off klaxons. They’re fooling no one.
“Deployments are hard.” “Normal routines are disrupted.” “Uncertainty will always be in play.”
That’s how Trump’s Navy Secretary is brushing off what sailors have actually been enduring: food and supply shortages, broken plumbing, deteriorating living conditions, and deployment extensions that have pushed crews and their families to the brink.
We’ve heard directly from families of sailors aboard the Lincoln who are furious at the Trump regime’s gaslighting and lies.
Wife of US Service Member on Lincoln reacts to Trump’s statement: I don't think the man thinks before he talks. Take some accountability for what's going on with your military, your ships, and your war.

We heard Hegseth and the president essentially saying that families are lying and service members are lying, even though the proof is right here on my phone.
It's infuriating that they're not taking accountability and not having any sort of sympathy for our service members that they they claim that they support when it's politically, you know, sound for them—until our troops need support. And now suddenly everyone's lying.
I so badly would love to plaster my face and blow the whistle so loud on social media with my name and be like, this is real. But unfortunately, I have to protect my husband's career
According to Sec. Cao, the media is misrepresenting these people by…letting them speak in public.Wife of USS Lincoln Service member: My husband is appalled at the conditions on this ship. This is not his first deployment. And he is saying that it is the worst deployment that he's ever been on. He says his shipmates stay the same. pic.twitter.com/Gvn4MXLQ7y
