Anyone who expects to learn anything from the DC Press Whores, especially the ones given access to the Whitehouse is sadly gullible. I.F. Stone recommended that reporters read reports and papers and the Congressional record and stop talking to "sources." I seem to recall hearing Lyle Dennison (oddly enough one of that now quite degraded species, the Supreme Court reporter) saying he took it as a professional ethic that he never socialized with anyone who had anything to do with the Supreme Court members it was his job to report on. I think of that every time the Press Whores hold one of their geek proms.
