Paxton has raised $9.3 million. Elmo has given him $250,000 more. Talarico has raised over $31 million.

MAGA, Inc. wants to spend half the money on ads bashing Talarico. Saying what? He’s vegan? He’s gay? He’s a socialist? God is non-binary? Talarico has pretty much established himself by now. If they can’t do better than “Talafreako,” they’re wasting their money.

I guess the other $5 million will go for ads about Trump. Paxton’s record does him no credit.  So far, he’s trailing scandal and creating scandal, and nobody wants to give him any money. Trump can only peel off 10% of what his PAC has, putting Paxton up to just over half of Talarico’s war chest.

If money is the mother’s milk of politics, Paxton is the runt of the litter.
