Dragged out an old Linda Ronstadt album, "Heart Like A Wheel" (don't tell NYMary, she'll think I'm poaching her territory!), which reminded me of all my Kate and Anna McGarrigle albums, and all their songs that Ronstadt performed, and then Leonard Cohen and his albums, and all his songs that Judy Collins performed....(and yes, I have all of these, recorded on one medium or another).
Any country that can produce Cohen and the McGarrigle sisters is deserving of a ranking with Ireland, England, and Greece for great literary artists. Although producing either one would be sufficient.
