The music for this day should be Bach. For better or worse, for me it is inextricably the final music of "Jesus Christ Superstar."
The first of these two is far better than the second. I'll admit I can't watch the first (which I had never seen before) without crying. The final shot, of the grieving woman looking up from the corpse, obviously trying to see God, and finding only an empty cross.... That just seems to define the day.
