Justice, or Just Us?

Jane Harman thinks wiretapping is just fine, until her conversations are recorded.

Dick Cheney thinks arresting foreign nationals and throwing them into black prisons or Gitmo with no judicial oversight at all is just fine, but he shouldn't be subject to foreign prosecutions by foreign judicial systems:

"I hear this talk that there is going to be some kind of foreign prosecution of our guys, I just think that’s abhorrent, and I think they ought to do everything they can to fight that.”
Universal jurisdiction for thee, but not for me!

Irony is on the floor clutching its sides, roaring with laughter.
