Heart in the Deep of Texas

I love Austin (Texas).  Lived there for 15 years, owned my first house there, my daughter was born there.  Some of my best memories are there.

But there is this image of Austin as a deep blue pearl in the red velvet cake of GOP lunacy.  This story proves that no place is so singularly perfect.

It also proves that the fish rots from the head, all the way down.  Way, WAY down.
