I mean, I know Gov. Absent is bad; but he's not this bad.
I would really love to know how South Dakota went from being the state that sent George McGovern,one of the most decent men in the history of American poitics, to the Senate to what it is today. I will bet anyone my entire bank account that it was largely due to lies on the radio and TV that made that transformation under unregulated media and the "First Amendment" as commonly conceived of in the post-war period.
