(Yes, I am too familiar with NextDoor. But no one in my “neighborhood” is young enough to have kids to take to a donut shop. Everybody is an older, nastier crank than me. We’re the ones with enough time to complain on line about everything and anything.)
I'm old enough to remember when a place that was full of people wasn't full of mean old geezers but of customers who got there first. Do they figure they get to oust someone on the basis of gender and age?
