Norman Rockwell Is Dead

Sorry to break it to you, but in 60+ years I’ve never had a postal worker “visit” my house. Mail gets dropped in the mailbox by the front door. They never ring my doorbell and hand it to me. Nor does any delivery service. It’s been contactless for as long as I can remember.

They may be visiting businesses, but so do a lot of people. I don’t think many people are really worrying about this.
As for why Postal workers are in this grey zone, keep two things always in mind:

1) reporters are not government lawyers; or often even lawyers;

2) Twitter is a terrible place to learn about the law.
The truth is out there. But probably not on Twitter.

  1. This Sanchez guy is a jerk. Nice to know they don't all have Northern European names.

    1. Turns out he was dead wrong, Postal workers are covered by OSHA regs. Another case of:ready, shoot, aim.
