Not only did he not rescue anyone, he didn’t even get into Afghanistan. And he’s proud of that!

Still no word on what he was going to do when he got there, like find some desperate family who would trust him to get them past the Taliban, the bandits in the countryside, and then across the border with any of several countries that aren’t all that happy with the U.S.

At least he got back safely and without hurting anybody else. Which is all we could have hoped for.
