Nobody’s Living In The Future

Well, if Trump can win re-election 3 years from now. Otherwise these "shock troops" are useless. Trump won in 2016 against a terrible candidate (who else could have lost to him?). He lost decisively in 2020, despite the efforts of 60 or more lawsuits, and he has ruined the reputations of more than a few lawyers (with their help). So the odds of him finding competent counsel to do that again in 3 years are zip and none (not that he had competent counsel the last time).

And Steve Bannon is as likely to be “President Bannon” behind the scenes as James Carville and Rick Wilson are to each manage Presidential campaigns again in their lifetimes. As for this:
The Eastman “plan” (which even Eastman admitted wouldn’t work: Doesn’t happen without the complicity of the sitting VPOTUS. But here's the problem: Michael Pence won’t be VPOTUS again anytime soon. The VP in 2025 will be Kamala Harris. Will Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz carry the joint meeting to blow up the reception of the electoral college vote? Not really likely. I’m all for fixing the EVCA, but do I trust this Congress to do that?

No.

And is Trump really in charge of the GOP? If he is, how many of them are going to vote in “rigged” elections? How many are going to refuse mail-in ballots and then not vote at all? And how many are going to turn out to vote against the crazies endorsed by Trump?

Yeah, get back to me after the mid-terms.

2024 is a long way off.
