Since You Didn't Ask

(Although I have to say the idea of the UK being the Corgi here is a bit...odd.) And giving fair time to opposing views: Although it's almost not an iota's worth of difference, my respect for Queen Elizabeth in death, is not the same thing as honoring the monarchy: The Queen is dead. Long live the King. (Maybe it's time to revisit that play about a fictional King Charles III causing a constitutional crisis? Too soon?)

  1. My parents, both veterans of WWII, respected her for her wartime service, neither of them were especially big fans of the monarchy though my mother did watch the royal weddings. The one with William and what's-her-name, I saw a little of it while she was watching it and all I could think was those poor dumb kids are accepting a lifetime sentence for them and their children. I'll look on the bright side, the Murdoch media hate Charles so he must have some good in him. My brother claims it was him and his son who talked E II into sidelining Randy Andy after his ties to the pedophile rape were exposed.
Britain could use a constitutional crisis. If it, like us, it doesn't have one already.
