That is pretty much what I was hearing from Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo this morning.

That's what the White House is saying.  Who has more credibility?

I've said it before, I'll say it again:  Trump has no power to re-start the economy, no power to order ordinary life to resume, no power to override the decisions of governors and county officials and mayors, and his attempts to do so will only make the problem worse.  I really didn't think it was possible to find a way to do that, but never doubt Trump's ability (and the GOP, apparently) to throw gasoline on the fire.
