Feh!

Unless "Going to Harvard" is an irrelevant data point. Or it's not irrelevant, but rather a causative factor. Which to choose, which to choose? This will get interesting, no? I'm listening/watching on-line to C-SPAN. Charlie's right. This is why real court proceedings are never portrayed realistically on TeeVee. Trials are boring, too.

Gosar, by the way, is a Representative from Arizona, so he's objecting that the election was fraudulent as to Trump, but perfectly legitimate for him, in Arizona.  Huh?

The gentleman from Louisiana is blaming the "Democrat" party for not following the "process" laid out by state legislatures (which one?  Don't ask such picky questions!).  His argument is already BS, for me (the idea that only the Legislature can decide how elections are performed, that Courts and agency heads (in Texas the SOS is an elected office, by the by; probably true in all Southern states, frankly), is ludicrous.  And it still doesn't allow an escape clause where Trump was defrauded, but not, say, Gosar.

This is, in short, some fine frontier gibberish.  (He also points out "we have to fix this," "we" being the Congress.  As the courts have pointed out 60 times, too late for that, bucky.)  "Let's get back to rule of law"?  What, courts are not part of that Constitutional process?

Ah, it's all pointless.  The only interesting point is that what's going on outside the building is having no effect on what's going on inside the building:
Rep. Zoe Lofgren is doing yeoman's work and speaking quite eloquently against this nonsense. But again, it doesn't matter. What matters are the votes in the end, and the objectors don't have the votes. Gym Jordan opens by appealing to the size of Trump's rallies. Surprise, surprise!  He really is Trump's Mini-Me.  Feh! So the GOP is going to make the same arguments over and over and over again? Who do they imagine is listening? The people outside? This is their "base"? Yeah, don't get too excited about that. Like I said, it all comes down to the vote. The rest is just theater; of the absurd.
