I take from that latter tweet the lesson that, yes, Trump & Co. may complain about the public hearings this week, but it will be a mouse in a hurricane for all the effect it will have. 

Navarro complaining about how he is being treated won't stir a judge one hair in favor of him, and all Trump's "truths" (hand to God, that's what they call the posts on his pitiful platform) won't put Sussman back in the trial court.

Meanwhile the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers are in a world of hurt.  Seditious conspiracy is not a criminal charge I'd want to be facing.  That's not a crime with the six month sentence attached.
