(We can talk about “vague statements cloaking bigotry” another time. That language itself cloaks bigotry. Not in the writer, but in the society. After all, calling someone a “motherfucker” is just cursing. But calling someone a racist (“history of racist remarks” is as close as RS will get), well, that’s offensive!)
