Return To SNAFU

Not quite all the news:
Seven people were shot near the Chicago Theatre in the city's Loop neighborhood Friday evening, authorities said, prompting a heavy police response in the area.

At approximately 9:50 p.m., Chicago police said they responded to a shooting near the intersection of North State Street and West Lake Street.

Several ambulances and a heavy police response could be seen in the area, with police tape wrapped across State Street and over a dozen police vehicles parked near the Chicago Theater and Joffrey Ballet.

The shooting occurred just after thousands were in the downtown area celebrating the start of the holiday season, with the city's official tree lighting ceremony occurring only four hours earlier a few blocks away and the Loop's Daley Plaza Christkindlmarket kicking off for the holiday season Friday evening.

Police later confirmed a total of seven people were shot in the incident. Blocks away and less than an hour later, one person was fatally shot and a second individual was injured in a separate shooting near Dearborn and Adams streets
So the police took care of it, and it’s all over. Or not:
Massive crime and rioting in the Chicago Loop area. Multiple Police Officers attacked and badly injured," the president claimed Saturday. "300 people rioting, 6 victims shot, one critical and one DEAD."

He continues:

"In the meantime, Governor Pritzker and the Low IQ Mayor of Chicago are refusing Federal Government help for a situation that could be quickly remedied. The people are chanting, BRING IN TRUMP!!!"
Pretty sure the situation was “quickly remedied.”

No reports of people chanting, either. Significantly, he’s not trying to raise the Insurrection Act. He wants Pritzker to call on him to…do what? Militarize Chicago? Call in the NG? Pritzker can do that himself, if needed.

Trump is just pissed the courts wouldn’t let the NG stay. Which is also significant. I mean, he’s not sending them, is he?
