I just wanted to say....

Texas BBQ is beauty, and beauty is Texas BBQ.  That is all you know, and all you need to know

The redoubtable Lt. Col. Robert Bateman sez:

A. The distance should be somewhere between 20 and 50 miles. Any less and you look the fool for not knowing where you are, any more and the average Brit will be confounded. Remember, we think 200 years is a long time, and they think 200 miles is a long way.**
That footnote goes here:

**I know Texans who will make that distance, round trip, for a good BBQ restaurant. True, on Texan roads it takes about 30 minutes each way, but that is beside the point.

He's right.  I will, and have done.

And will do again.  Good BBQ is damned good stuff!
