The interesting thing about Dallas is how much good is coming out of it. If you ignore the minor idiots, the major story here is reconciliation and recovery, and even the ideas that we are better than this and we are all in this together.
It isn't "kumbayah," but it isn't 1968, either; or 1992; and it sure as hell isn't 1861; nor even 1860.
