“Grow up, Donald, grow up. Time to be an adult, you’re president,” Biden said in an interview with PBS NewHour. “You’ve got to do something. Show us what you have. You’re going to propose legislation, we’re going to get to debate it. Let the public decide. Let them vote in Congress. Let’s see what happens.”Vice President Joe Biden, when asked about Donald Trump's use of Twitter.
“It’s going to be much clearer what he’s for and against, and what we’re for and against, now that it’s going to get down to actually discussing, in detail, these issues that affect people’s lives,” Biden continued.
Does anybody think that's going to happen?
Wow, the ratings are in and Arnold Schwarzenegger got "swamped" (or destroyed) by comparison to the ratings machine, DJT. So much for....— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 6, 2017
being a movie star-and that was season 1 compared to season 14. Now compare him to my season 1. But who cares, he supported Kasich & Hillary— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 6, 2017
Why does he care? More importantly, he has a continuing financial interest in that show: does he want it to succeed, or does his ego want it to fail? And what does this say about his approach to the Presidency?
Hillary and the Dems were never going to beat the PASSION of my voters. They saw what was happening in the last two weeks before the......— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 6, 2017
and knew they were in big trouble - which is why they cancelled their big fireworks at the last minute.THEY SAW A MOVEMENT LIKE NEVER BEFORE— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 6, 2017
Again, I ask....
The dishonest media does not report that any money spent on building the Great Wall (for sake of speed), will be paid back by Mexico later!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 6, 2017
They don't report it because, of course, it isn't true. But again, why is he tweeting about this? Legislation hasn't even been introduced yet.
The Democratic National Committee would not allow the FBI to study or see its computer info after it was supposedly hacked by Russia......— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 6, 2017
So how and why are they so sure about hacking if they never even requested an examination of the computer servers? What is going on?— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 6, 2017
He's going to be briefed on that within 12 hours of posting this tweet. Is this how he plans to conduct all his business as President? Telegraphing to the world what he thinks, and how he's already arguing with the agencies that serve his office? But remember, he's a big fan of "intelligence"!
The dishonest media likes saying that I am in Agreement with Julian Assange - wrong. I simply state what he states, it is for the people....— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 5, 2017
to make up their own minds as to the truth. The media lies to make it look like I am against "Intelligence" when in fact I am a big fan!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 5, 2017
I suppose we should be encouraged that he now needs more than 140 characters to convey his thoughts.
Grow up, Donald. Do it really, really fast. We can't separate ourselves from this mad leader as effectively as we did from King George.
I can see the national security crisis when the generals or FEMA or some other entity are waiting for Trump to decide and he's busy tweeting snark about Arnold and the quality of his decisions on Celebrity Apprentice.
ReplyDeleteIf I had Lin-Manuel Miranda in front of me I'd lambaste him for holding up Alexander Hamilton as some kind of hero for a new generation of ignorant people. If I had Hamilton in front of me I might shoot him for that electoral college idiocy.
I know the anticipation of the full disaster is what's making me so bitter but it's the fact that nothing will happen to prevent it happening again because "founding fathers" that's really making me impossible to live with.
It's going to be horrible. Got to go read some Psalms and minor prophets. That's the best preparation I've had, so far.
We haven't even touched on the emoluments clause.
ReplyDeleteTrump will be violating his oath the moment his hand comes off the Bible. And will Congress do anything about it?
Constitutional requirements are SO inconvenient!
George III didn't go mad until after we rebelled (although there might've been some precursor episodes). Now we're getting a madman, as advertised.
