Rudy: Yes, Trump paid Cohen back the $130k.— Josh Marshall (@joshtpm) May 3, 2018
Hannity: But wait, the President didn't know about.
Rudy: Well ... pic.twitter.com/4ltYwBZwh2
Apparently Rudy Guliani and Donald Trump share one brain between them, and neither one knows how to use it:
President Donald Trump’s new lawyer Rudy Giuliani says the president repaid attorney Michael Cohen for a $130,000 payment to porn star Stormy Daniels.Oh, it just gets better and better:
Trump had told reporters that he was not aware of the payment and that he didn’t know where Cohen had gotten the money.
Giuliani made the revelation during an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity.”
He also says the payment “is going to turn out to be perfectly legal” because “that money was not campaign money.”
Just asked @MichaelAvenatti to react to Rudy comments about Trump paying back Cohen on Stormy $:— MJ Lee (@mj_lee) May 3, 2018
“I am stunned and speechless. If this is accurate, the American people have been lied to and deceived for months. And justice must be served.”
Did you notice Rudy Giuliani used the term “funneled” the money through a law firm⁉️⁉️⁉️— Venture Capital (@kelly2277) May 3, 2018
No, but now I'll go back and listen to the tape.
The pee tape?
ReplyDeleteSo, as I recall both Trump and Cohen denied that the money came from Trump, so Rudy threw them both under the bus? Someone said that even Hannity was stunned to hear him say it and if Hannity realized it was trouble it must be trouble.
ReplyDeleteDoes New York City have the sleaziest lawyers?
