I've no idea what he's talking about. Fox News, Breitbart, OANN? Who knows? Probably the voices in his head, assuring him he's still a good boy. Following that Tweet, he posted 13 from other people talking about how awesome Donald Trump is. So let's step back to where this current controversy started. The Failing @nytimes story on Mexico and Illegal Immigration through our Southern Border has now been proven shockingly false and untrue, bad reporting, and the paper is embarrassed by it. The only problem is that they knew it was Fake News before it went out. Corrupt Media!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 9, 2019
That statement did not say this:....stem the tide of Migration through Mexico, and to our Southern Border. This is being done to greatly reduce, or eliminate, Illegal Immigration coming from Mexico and into the United States. Details of the agreement will be released shortly by the State Department. Thank you!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 8, 2019
But that's not true, either.MEXICO HAS AGREED TO IMMEDIATELY BEGIN BUYING LARGE QUANTITIES OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCT FROM OUR GREAT PATRIOT FARMERS!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 8, 2019
The upshot there is, Mexico is a major trading partner, and that has not changed. Which is actually a more important statement than Trump's tweets. And it gets better:Mexican ambassador tells @FaceTheNation that her earlier comments neither confirmed nor denied transaction. Here's the clip, you decide. pic.twitter.com/W2hqK2eOnD— Face The Nation (@FaceTheNation) June 9, 2019
Remember when talk was cheap?Mexico’s National Guard, similar to a “police force” will send members to the Guatemalan border Monday, Mexican Amb. @Martha_Barcena says and hopes to see results in a relatively short time, “like a month or a month and half.” pic.twitter.com/ur6PoNDDuc— Face The Nation (@FaceTheNation) June 9, 2019
And the number of immigrants is not going down anytime soon:Mexico is sending a big delegation to talk about the Border. Problem is, they’ve been “talking” for 25 years. We want action, not talk. They could solve the Border Crisis in one day if they so desired. Otherwise, our companies and jobs are coming back to the USA!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 2, 2019
Those 133,000 are not going to stop tomorrow, which the President said could happen if Mexico was just forced to do it. In the movies, maybe, but not in reality. And this doesn't budge Congress on immigration. And still nothing Trump has said is true; and nothing he has said has changed the narrative on what REALLY happened.Immigration discussions at the White House with representatives of Mexico have ended for the day. Progress is being made, but not nearly enough! Border arrests for May are at 133,000 because of Mexico & the Democrats in Congress refusing to budge on immigration reform. Further...— Donald J.
