The @JoeBiden campaign is cranking out these ads daily now. It seems to be working: Trump's late-night unhinged rage-tweet sessions are getting worse... pic.twitter.com/qRxbR5nkab— π Shane π π️πΊπΈπ· (@egheitasean) May 10, 2020
I mean, besides political Twitter? (I didn't even know they were coming out daily. Clearly I don't spend my days on Twitter wisely.) The Lincoln Project ad "Mourning in America" was 2020's "Daisy Ad." Almost nobody saw it broadcast except people in D.C. watching FoxNews that morning. That's not a bad thing, just an observation. It's not clear the "Daisy Ad" had any real impact on the LBJ/Goldwater race (but it didn't hurt!). I'm just intrigued by what the narrative will be and which ad (a la Willie Horton, which nobody saw but the media talked about incessently) will be the one that "won".
It should be one quoting a line of poetry, methinks.
