Like what?I feel like people are underestimating the very real chance he will try something genuinely insane, even by Trump standards. https://t.co/MCI81ayZ1Y

Which would trigger a true constitutional crisis for....about 10 minutes. He has no authority to seize voting machines on his edict. He can't order the military to do it (it's an illegal order, they'd all refuse to carry it out or face court-martial themselves). He can't order a federal agency to do it: it's against the law. He can't demand the DOJ file the appropriate action (civil suit, criminal action) in order to invoke court authority to seek subpoenas. He can ask Giuliani to do it; that'll be another clown show. He can appoint Sidney Powell Special Counsel....except, no, he can't. The incoming acting AG might, at the end of the month. But again, consider Powell's track record in court. Or Giuliani’s. Or the fact the DOJ has never tried to go to court on this. DOJ lawyers will quit rather than touch this turkey with a club. Even if they don't, no court is going to issue such a subpoena, and if they do it will be quashed instanter by a panel of the appropriate Court of Appeals.Ordering some arm of the military or federal law enforcement to seize state voting machines. Attempting to declare martial law. Attempting to order the arrest of political opponents.

With what, a tweet? And "attempting" is the right word there.Ordering some arm of the military or federal law enforcement to seize state voting machines. Attempting to declare martial law. Attempting to order the arrest of political opponents.
