Some Twitterati are trying to change the name of the GOP to "Face Eating Leopard Party." I would like to propose, instead, a new "mascot."The MAGA right is going after Ted Cruz for calling Trump's post-election rhetoric "way too far over the line... reckless and irresponsible." pic.twitter.com/ji1NA37NNS

Although this is more appropriate, given the current state of the party:
Best of all would be an image of a whole nest of snakes trying to eat each other's tails. But simplicity prevails in the matter of logos, and the GOP elephant (whatever it stood for) is as dead as the proverbial door nail.
And yes, I know the ouroboros is a symbol of rebirth and/or eternity, but to steal a line from Paul that was inscribed over the door of a dormitory at the seminary I attended (in the original Greek, I won't bore you with that): "The things unseen are forever." We took that as referring to gossip (rife in that dorm, which as co-ed, something the founders of the seminary never imagined); no reason to take it out of context again in reference to the cloud of conspiracy theories that is the new GOP. As they devour each other like a nest of snakes eating...their tails. Besides, conspiracy theories are kind of eternal....
