Between the nonsense about "free speech" on one side, and the nonsense about Twitter being a "public square" on the other, I'm ready to give up on this topic.Twitter has had a massive drop in revenue, due to activist groups pressuring advertisers, even though nothing has changed with content moderation and we did everything we could to appease the activists.

Raw Story has a screen shot of a corrective to Elmo's tweet, appended by Twitter and including three links to news articles regarding "reporting shows advertisers suspending or canceling ad buys over concerns with Twitter platform direction, especially as related to content moderation."
That message is no longer on Twitter. Free speech is what Elmo says it is.
