Switching gears to the “serious” story du jour:

This is actually the perfect Trump story:
1. People were investigating.
2. Something was done that could harm the investigation.
3. Unclear if the act was intentional or incompetence.
4. Suspicious act didn't ultimately harm the investigation.
5. It did cause more investigation.

The random speculation is that the flood story will never reach the courtroom because it doesn’t really add anything. It’s eye-candy to journalists, but not critical to the legal charges.

Virtually everyone who has ever worked for Trump has tried to capitalize on doing so, often by selling what they get for that access to others.
