If I recall correctly, when he did that in Carroll II, some of what he said was presented to the jury as evidence against him. That whole “His lawyers won’t let him testify” thing? It’s the flip-side question: when does Trump start campaigning?Next week begins a daily ritual where a candidate who has averaged 1 campaign event and 6 golf outings a week for 18 months complains bitterly that his trial is preventing him from campaigning even though it will be held 4 days a week from 9-5.
