What Was Your First Clue?

Displaying comments the former president made on social media, she continued, "So, 2018, he brags; 'Just signed the 702 Bill to reauthorize foreign intelligence collection. This is NOT the same FISA law that was so wrongly abused during the election.' " 
"Then on Wednesday he writes: 'Kill FISA, it was used against me and others to spy on the campaign,'" she added. " 
We have Fox News pointing out he confused section 702 with Title 1," she elaborated. "I mean, he's not even clear on what he's doing." 
"He doesn't know," co-host Michael Steele interjected. 
"He has no idea what he's talking about," former Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL) pointed out.
In Sanger's book, "New Cold Wars: China’s Rise, Russia’s Invasion, and America’s Struggle to Defend the West," which the Guardian obtained before its release, Stephenson said he made his appearance at the former president's request, only to hear a list of grievances before turning to the reason he was there, at which point Trump reportedly told him, "This is boring." 
As reported in the book, Stephenson told Sanger: "Trump burned up the first 45 minutes of the meeting by riffing on how men got into trouble. It was all about women and private planes, he claimed. Then he went into a long diatribe about Stormy Daniels, the former porn star who claimed she had had an affair with him. It was ‘all part of the same stand-up comedy act’, Stephenson later recalled … and ‘we were left with 15 minutes to talk about Chinese infrastructure.’” 
The executive admitted he "could see that the president’s mind was elsewhere," and made his escape after Trump's daughter Ivanka entered the room and the topic was changed.
Granted, the story is new. But to anyone who lived through the four years of the Trump presidency, it’s as surprising as sunrise. If Trump is getting worse, it was always a very short drop to the bottom.
