Who Is This “Trump” Trump Speaks Of?

The longer version is “L’etat, c’est moi.” So there is a new war, for which he’s not responsible? I think we’ve found our theme. Peters' lawyer opined that Trump might send in U.S. marshals to liberate her from prison. I don’t think he should hold his breath. I had to see this whole to understand it. Just a reminder. Unfuckingbelievable. It’s not like it’s the FBI’s job to apprehend suspects. Their real job is rounding up illegal immigrants. Right? I ran that string to end where we started. Trump is an old man, and old men are prone to nonsense. Here, he talks as if to himself; it’s insular, isolated. The BBC didn’t make up anything. It edited the sequence of his statements, not the content. His suit won’t last past the motion for summary judgment based on 1st Amendment issues. But if he really believes he didn’t say what he said 5 years ago…

The other two are as delusional as the “TDS” he claims his critics have, or the state he claims for the economy. He’s determined to seek comfort in his delusions, to pitifully make himself important in all things. Which is fine for an old man muttering to himself; but unacceptable in a sitting POTUS. Especially when the goal of the muttering is to decline all responsibility. The buck stops with…the victims?

  1. In the first term when Trump had a group photo taken with non-sycophants quite often one person would be standing there looking sort of shocked as if they were thinking "my god he is much worse than I expected". Now it's getting so they *all* look like they would much rather be somewhere else.

There is a post-event clip of Trump standing aimlessly behind his desk as his human props more or less turn their backs on him. He looks one way and waits for someone to turn to him, which doesn't happen. He then turns the other way and finds someone to speak with briefly and then sits down behind the desk and starts playing with a pen. Basically, as soon as he stops talking he's checking out. Aside from his Air Force One pressers, where he leans heavily on the door frame you almost never see the guy on his own anymore, and he seems like nothing so much as a wind-up toy that's s l o w i n g d o w n
