How can FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, the man in charge, along with leakin’ James Comey, of the Phony Hillary Clinton investigation (including her 33,000 illegally deleted emails) be given $700,000 for wife’s campaign by Clinton Puppets during investigation?

The FBI’s top lawyer, James Baker, is being reassigned — one of the first moves by new director Christopher A. Wray to assemble his own team of senior advisers as he tries to fend off accusations of politicization within the bureau.

Baker told colleagues he will be taking on other duties at the FBI, according to people familiar with the matter. In recent months, Baker had been caught up in a strange interagency dispute that led to a leak probe and attracted the attention of senior lawmakers, but people familiar with the matter said the probe had recently ended with a decision not to charge anyone. The leak issue had not played a part in Baker’s reassignment, these people said.

This started something, because the next day James Comey tweeted:

Sadly, we are now at a point in our political life when anyone can be attacked for partisan gain. James Baker, who is stepping down as FBI General Counsel, served our country incredibly well for 25 years & deserves better. He is what we should all want our public servants to be.

Because apparently somebody decided this was a sign of the perfidy of the "deep state."  Where would someone get that idea?

He obviously doesn't know what this means, but he's sure it means something.  And it only took him 48 hours to find out what everyone is talking about.  And maybe if he fires Wray, he can get Baker assigned back?  Or is that not what he's thinking?

Yup; FoxNews, again.  And also, by the way, reported first by the Washington Post.  But they're "fake news," right?  And this is what Comey and Wittes are talking about, in part.  The speaker is John Pistoles, former FBI administrator:

“Andy’s in a difficult position now . . . because of the hyperpartisan political environment,” he explained. “It’s disappointing to see how the criticism of the FBI is being used to try to undermine the credibility of the Mueller investigation. I think they’ve figured out they can’t undermine Bob’s integrity, so they’re just going to go after whoever they can dig up any dirt on.”

I mean, it's not like he's the President or something.  He's too busy to watch TV!  Right?
