I was thinking this weekend that I never shop at Wal-Mart, as much because of the inconvenience as any personal or moral convictions. I haven't bought a new car in 15 years, so I'm doing absolutely nothing to support Detroit. Likewise, I haven't travelled by plane in almost a decade. I don't eat at McDonald's, or almost any chain restaurant (Applebee's, The Olive Garden, Chili's), yet these places seem to thrive without my attention to.
And I was going to say something about all that, about my importance in the grand scheme of things, or apparent lack thereof.
And then Greg Gutfeld beat me to it.
