I am moving this gallery up here to highlight reality in New Orleans, once again.
Claims of racism are not disgusting; leaving people in this condition for days on end, is disgusting. Claiming those in authority to do something didn't know because of poor communication, is disgusting. Denying responsibility after the state has told you they need help, is disgusting.
And most of all, trying to bar press coverage of situations like this, especially in a representative democracy where the free flow of information is crucial, is disgusting.
