Clueless in excelsis

I have just this to say about this:

"Xmas" was actually coined by Christians, not by non-believers looking to remove "Christ" from "Christmas." The "X" is actually the capital "chi" (why reproduce it again, I'll go with the pronunciation), the first letter in the Greek Χριστοϋ.  

So the "true meaning" of "Xmas" is still:  "Christmas."

Unless it's just shopping binges that bail out the retail sector
