Florida governor and Senate candidate Rick Scott demanded an investigation be opened into allegations of voter fraud in Broward County — but apparently did not submit an official request for one."Talk is cheap," we used to say. Maybe it's time to revive that chestnut; it would serve us well today.
The Tampa Bay Times reported that according to a spokesperson from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Scott has not submitted a written request that would trigger such an investigation.
“We do not have an active investigation,” FDLE spokesperson Gretl Plessinger told the newspaper.
