I have no knowledge of D.C. streets or even the Mall, but I call bullshit. The last three Sherman tanks in use in the world were retired last year by … Paraguay. https://t.co/eOMdLIn2bC ht @ChrisCameronNYT https://t.co/PJfmGg4smm— Amy Fiscus (@amyfiscus) July 1, 2019
Those tanks weigh 60 tons or more ( the ones still in use by the military). They can't be transported to the Mall without damaging the roads. What does Trump expect, that they are air-lifted in? And set down where? "Outside the Mall"?
Yeah, they'll be outside the Mall. So far outside you can't see them. The "brand new Sherman tanks" will be especially hard to see.
If this idiot told me it was raining I'd check for myself. We have said it before, and we’ll say it again: Tanks, but no tanks. (PS: The @DeptofDefense agrees, see highlighted area below) pic.twitter.com/ock2EORKNz— Council of DC (@councilofdc) July 1, 2019
Well, I started it, so:
Don't know where the railyard is or how those tanks get any nearer the Mall, but:The Latest: Tanks arrive in DC ahead of July 4 celebration (from @AP) https://t.co/GL3lkGgi4M— Zeke Miller (@ZekeJMiller) July 2, 2019
All of this is going to end so well https://t.co/TGsqUlcKv7— Rick Wilson (@TheRickWilson) July 2, 2019
