I've come to understand that the socialist-Marxist imagination can't believe that a majority of voters could simply not want what they're selling, it's got to be that they're duped by some spooky dark conspiracy or that they're uneducated sheep who have to be reeducated (and good luck with that) or something. They can't imagine that they hear what they're being promised and either don't believe it acn be delivered or, in part or in all, have other ideas about what they want. And that's not even getting into the baggage that socialism and Marxism hold from when they do have power - or at least something that is named that. Bernie Sanders has almost as hard a time at accepting his own fallibility as Trump, he's like a much smarter version of Trump in that but there are similar personality traits there, too. Brooklyn's not that far from Queens.
