My first response was that Trump was too dumb to be able to go along with this latest cover story but I think your interpretation in his need to never be wrong is the right one.
ReplyDeleteIt would seem they've already abandonned the "the economy sank because you did't pretend things were normal" line of a few days back is already overtaken by events. Reality doesn't so rapidly bite you in the ass all that often but it does in this.
