There is enormous pent-up energy among some of Trump’s allies in conservative media to launch a full-blown campaign to pressure the president to remove Fauci.— Axios (@axios) April 13, 2020
They blame Fauci for talking Trump into the shutdown, and for basing advice on faulty modeling. https://t.co/2ZQVRT0qsn
It's so cute! They think they're in charge! They think they run the country!
.@NYGovCuomo announcing he'll work with other Northeast governors in developing a plan to gradually return to normal: "This is a time for smart, competent, effective government... the optimum is a geographically coordinated plan." @NY1— Joel Siegel (@joelmsiegel) April 13, 2020
Like the President, they really don't have a clue how this works.
Let me make this real simple: we've told business and the public this crisis is so serious only the most radical efforts will work. Those efforts have worked. Now we're going to tell everyone it's fine as of a magic date? Based on the reputation of the incompetent boob who has been on TV telling lies about this on a daily basis? Even as the number of cases continues to increase and the death toll rises almost geometrically? I know they think we've always been at war with Eastasia, but most of the country is not that gullible.

And this is not going to be over for a long, long time. Lifetimes, even. And not just for those who lost family to this disease.
