Details! We need details!
At Friday’s White House briefing, a reporter asked Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany what specific crimes were committed as part of the vague conspiracy theory President Donald Trump calls “Obamagate.”Dance, little puppets! Dance!
McEnany said that she was “glad” to be asked, and then listed off several of Trump’s grievances over the past four years, like the Steele dossier, without ever actually answering the question of what crime was committed. She added, “I hope you will all pursue” the issue.
“Is the president saying those people should be jailed?” the reporter pressed her.
“I never said that. Those are your words, not mine,” said McEnany. She added, “perhaps you should look into it and give me some answers. That is, after all, the job of reporters — to answer the very questions that I’ve laid out.”
I trust you’ll report on my statement that I am a three-time Super Bowl champion, even though there’s no hard evidence to support my claims. https://t.co/ojyPXt334N— Kevin M. Kruse (@KevinMKruse) May 15, 2020
You know they (the media) want to.
And why do I think the Pentagon doesn't want the press to ask questions about this story?
Maybe it'd be best if the Pentagon just didn't tell the President anything, and give him nothing sharper than a rubber ball to play with. Meanwhile, this afternoon, the President the nation has been united in grief and prayer for those who have died. I don't know if that was before or after he said this:TRUMP: "We have, I call it the 'Super Duper Missile.' And I heard the other night, 17 times faster than what they have right now. If you take the fastest missile right now. You've heard Russia has 5 times, China is working on 5 or 6 times. We have one 17 times ...17 times faster" pic.twitter.com/Y3ZtNIL9TI— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) May 15, 2020
Some other death totals that were "a tiny percentage" of Americans:— Chris Lu (@ChrisLu44) May 15, 2020
War in Afghanistan: 2,400
9/11 attacks: 3,000
War in Iraq: 4,400
Vietnam War: 58,000
We've now exceeded all of those other totals combined https://t.co/JAwA76ANLu
I know I feel consoled now. I'm also agree "We can thank President Trump for being at the helm of all this."

Especially since I'm a life-long Democrat, and there's never been a worse President to hold that office, and he's a Republican, to boot.
I'm sure the media will make it sound better than that. It's their job, after all.
Their inclination will be to go easy on the shill, she's got an elite background, prep through Harvard, and is a white blonde but I'd guess the actual reporters - if such there still are - despise her. I'd imagine the military realize that pretty much anything they let him know about will be leaked by him or Kushner to Putin, the Saudis, etc. I would guess they regularly keep stuff from him in hope that we may have a president who isn't a known traitor next year.
