"Advantage?"

A number of Republican operatives believe Mr. Biden’s advantage is soft and that his penchant for gaffes will at least make the race more competitive than it would otherwise be amid a pandemic and an incipient economic depression.

“We have a very good story to tell on him and we’ve got to do it,” said Corry Bliss, a Republican strategist, of the negative narrative his party aims to generate about Mr. Biden.
Do they realize their "good story" is:  "Biden is marginally worse in these matters than the incumbent"?  And even that's so demonstrably not true it's pathetic?  Biden makes gaffes?  Trump tells people to drink bleach and stick UV lights up their butts and down their throats.  Biden misspeaks?  Trump tells Chinese-American journalists to go ask China those "nasty questions."  Biden stumbles?  Trump issues word-salads of gibberish that really can't be explained.  "Super-duper missile," anyone?  Here, just take a few fresh tweets:

And all of that was just Friday. If they honestly believe they can make Biden look worse than Trump based on getting Biden out of the basement, they are as delusional as the POTUS.
