Mask wearing isn’t some novel idea they came up with to control us— Marco Rubio (@marcorubio) July 16, 2020
Surgeons, nurses & dentists have used them forever to protect patients & themselves.
If it doesn’t work, what’s the harm?
And if it has a 10% chance of getting us back to school, sports & life why not do it?

Apparently so are caps, guns, and camo. Well, and the Lone Ranger.
When masks are mandated by law that's CONTROL.— BornAgainCovfefian (@covfefe_u) July 16, 2020
Well....yeah. But you could say the same thing about traffic laws.
Please, the issue is not whether or not to wear a mask. The issue is....does the government have the authority to force you to wear a mask?!! Please wake up!— Monte Johnston (@MonteStepJohn) July 16, 2020
Show me where the Constitution allows for Governors and Mayors issuing dictates and micro-managing the daily lives of individual Americans not convicted of any crime, on penalty/threat of fines and/or jail? I'll wait........— Larry Black (@LarryBlack10) July 16, 2020

The common thread, the theme? Clothing.
How many of these people think the Constitution doesn't allow government to dictate that they have to be clothed? Wear a shirt or shoes in a place of business? Can't urinate or defecate in public and wherever they choose? That's a simple matter of public health and/or common decency. What is the difference between wearing a mask in public and wearing clothes in public? If you go out of your house naked, you will be arrested and at least fined. Do any of the parties above have a problem with that?
You know, like this:
The restaurant owner added that Aberle has been a problem for years, saying he sometimes refused to wear shoes in the restaurant or bathroom and brought in food from home or other restaurants.
The banned customer has been especially disrespectful of social distancing and other coronavirus safety guidelines, according to the restaurant owner.
Can they explain the difference between "FREEDOM!" to not wear a mask, and their absolute allegiance to relinquishing their liberty to wander in public in the all together? Yeah, sure, nobody wants to "see that," but I've seen some people whose faces are improved by masks, so....
Common thread here, too:
Target today announces a mask rule for all customers that goes into effect August 1.— Nathaniel Meyersohn (@nmeyersohn) July 16, 2020
Later than Walmart, Kohl's and CVS', which start Monday. Kroger's rule starts Wednesday. Starbucks and Best Buy's mandates started yesterday.https://t.co/iUcEPdoF6i
Liberty don't mean shit if you're dead. Or lose a lung, or some brain function. All likely consequences of covid-19.

Yeah, people have always been this stupid. That's the other theme, here.
