Voted early. It was quick, and easy.— Rick Wilson (@TheRickWilson) August 6, 2020
Honestly, the election ain't what it used to be.
It's pretty clear to me that no matter how you slice it Trump's position isnt getting any worse & perhaps is getting slightly better than a month ago. He's still clearly behind, but the deficit is small enough with 89 days to go that he remains in the hunt https://t.co/6EOd3dx1dL— (((Harry Enten))) (@ForecasterEnten) August 6, 2020
Except there AREN'T "89 days to go."
* U.S. PRESIDENT TRUMP SAYS CORONAVIRUS VACCINE POSSIBLE AROUND NOV. 3, ELECTION DAY@Reuters— Carl Quintanilla (@carlquintanilla) August 6, 2020
Useless on at least three counts:
1) Trump said it. He also said we should inject bleach and stick UV lights in our orifices.
2) Even if a vaccine is announce in November, who cares? When they announced the polio vaccine, it didn't mean the threat of polio was over. Indeed, it still isn't.
3) November 3 is the last chance to vote, not the first. If the announcement of a vaccine is gonna change your vote, my guess is you're still deciding whether or not to vote.
Time to get used to that.
