Did Kanye West file nomination papers on time in Wisconsin? https://t.co/DSW6on6N3I— Maggie Haberman (@maggieNYT) August 6, 2020
He dropped his effort to get on the ballot in New Jersey.
He missed getting on the ballot in Illinois, and also:
He has missed the ballot in several states including Florida, Michigan, South Carolina and Texas. The ballot deadline has officially ended in 21 states and Washington, D.C. which reportedly accounts for 246 electoral votes.A Republican strategist got him on the ballot in Colorado, which is kind of odd. Not a huge contingent of blacks in Colorado, which seems to be the reason for the GOP to promote West's candidacy. I don't see rural Colorado voters going for him, and urban Colorado voters (Denver, Boulder) will never vote for Trump, no matter what. He's also on the ballot in Oklahoma, which, again: really? Trump is that worried about carrying Oklahoma?
We all know what he's doing:
Kanye West was reluctant to attack Trump (who won't attack him), eager to criticize Biden, and all but confirmed his run is designed to harm Biden. So rarely does the quiet part get said out loud as it does in 2020. https://t.co/hHt9YXt2c9— Maggie Haberman (@maggieNYT) August 6, 2020
Just don't see how it's going to work; at all.
Still waitin' for that October surprise to surprise everyone.*
*That Trump and the GOP would exploit a mentally ill man is not the surprise.
Someone said they thought it could backfire on Trump because the only Black voters insane enough to not vote for Biden would be insane enough to vote for this jackass. I was told that word is his wife is trying to get him declared incompetent. I never heard of him till he started this his pro-Trump nonsense and when I heard his, um, creative product it was crap.
ReplyDeleteI guess exploiting West is more of what Trump has done for black people.
