Trump didn't leave that press conference because he didn't want to answer Reid's question.   He left because he couldn't evade her.  Try as he might to call on anyone else, no one would talk over Paula Reid.

And she was taking no prisoners.

By contrast, he thinks the Jonathan Swan interview went well because it was "good TV."  I don't think he's really aware of how he answers questions or what the questions are.  But Swan never said "You were investigated for that."  Same thing as this:
